Jenna & Dan’s Summer Colorado Wedding at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses
Jenna and Dan’s summer Colorado wedding at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses was effortlessly joyful—mountain air, heartfelt vows, and good food surrounded by the people they love most. With 40 guests, their day felt both intimate and full of life.
Morning Calm & Getting Ready
The morning began at their home in Morrison, Colorado, where the girls gathered over brunch as Kim J. Beauty worked her magic on hair and makeup. Meanwhile, Dan got ready with his friends at a cozy Airbnb tucked into the hills of Evergreen, looking sharp in a green suit that fit the mountain setting perfectly.
By early afternoon, T5 Photography arrived to capture the quiet, personal moments—Jenna stepping into her gown, her elegant and timeless look coming together with soft curls and natural makeup.
First Look & Private Vows
They met on the fire pit deck at Juniper, surrounded by towering pines and the soft rustle of mountain wind. Jenna held a wildflower bouquet bursting with color—bright oranges, yellows, and pinks that popped against the green trees and Dan’s suit. Their private vows were personal and tearful—a moment suspended in time before the celebration began.
A Romantic Ceremony in the Meadow
At 5 p.m., guests gathered in the meadow. The arch, designed by The Ruffly Rose, was adorned with wildflowers in vivid hues that mirrored Jenna’s bouquet—perfectly wild, vibrant, and full of personality. Officiated by Jenna’s best friend Stef, the ceremony blended heartfelt emotion with easy laughter. When the two sealed their vows, the crowd cheered, and “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” played them back up the aisle.
Mountain Deck Reception
Cocktail hour flowed effortlessly onto the deck, with a full bar, lawn games, and appetizers from Bold BBQ. The scent of smoked brisket and summer air mixed as guests mingled and watched the sun drop behind the foothills. Dinner was served al fresco under twinkling lights, followed by toasts from family and friends. The repurposed florals by The Ruffly Rose added color and softness to the wooden tables, while cookies from Eileen’s Colossal Cookies sweetened the night.
Dancing Under the Colorado Sky
As the evening cooled, guests filled the deck for open dancing and golden-hour photos with T5 Photography. Jenna and Dan’s relaxed energy carried through every detail—unpretentious, colorful, and full of love. The night ended with “Closing Time,” a song that perfectly matched the joyful calm of the day.
