Amy & Chase’s Evergreen Colorado Intimate Wedding at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses
Amy and Chase celebrated an intimate Evergreen Colorado wedding weekend at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses with 38 of their closest family and friends. Their day included a meadow ceremony, portraits near the treehouses, cocktail hour along the tree-lined drive, dinner on the deck, and live music under the Colorado sky.
A Wedding Weekend in Golden and Evergreen
The weekend began with a Friday rehearsal in the meadow at Juniper, followed by a welcome party at The Eddy in Golden. Guests gathered for cocktail hour, dinner, a blessing from Amy’s mom, and toasts before the wedding day. On Saturday, Amy got ready nearby in Golden while Chase and his groomsmen gathered at an Airbnb in Evergreen. By the afternoon, everyone made their way to Juniper Lodge & Treehouses for the ceremony and reception.
Getting Ready at the Miner’s Treehouse
Amy arrived at Juniper and got dressed in the Miner’s Treehouse, one of the property’s private treehouse accommodations. She shared a first look with her bridesmaids on the deck at the Miner’s Treehouse, followed by bridal portraits and a first look with her dad. The treehouses created a quiet, scenic getting-ready space before the ceremony began.
A Meadow Ceremony at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses
Amy and Chase were married in the meadow at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses in Evergreen, Colorado. Their ceremony was officiated by Andrew and included personal vows, an exchange of rings, and a petal toss recessional. Alexa Kilgore performed live ceremony music, including “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” and “First Day of My Life.” Amy walked down the aisle with her dad to an instrumental version of “September Song” by Agnes Obel.
Cocktail Hour Along the Tree-Lined Drive
After the ceremony, guests moved to Juniper’s tree-lined drive for cocktail hour with passed appetizers, drinks, lounge seating, and a portrait painter. Design details included a Polaroid guestbook, bud vase seating chart, velvet linens, custom bar details by McArthur Weddings & Events and Korynne and Company, temporary tattoos, and florals by RLY RLY. The setting felt relaxed, personal, and true to an intimate mountain wedding in Evergreen.
Dinner on the Deck
Before dinner, Amy and Chase signed their marriage license and shared a private toast in the upper lounge with a wildflower spritz, whiskey, and appetizers. The couple was then introduced as newly married and cut their cake on the deck. Dinner by Biscuits & Berries followed, with stations including mac and cheese and carving stations. The deck was styled with farmhouse tables, rattan chargers, floral salad plates, light blue napkins, gold flatware, blue water goblets, taper candles, and florals. A floral and ribbon installation overhead added color and movement to the reception space.
Toasts, Dancing, and Send-Off
After dinner, guests shared toasts and Amy and Chase shared their first dance to “I Will Follow You into the Dark” by Death Cab for Cutie. Parent dances followed, then open dancing with Hummingbirds and the Spoon, led by Alexa Kilgore. The evening ended with a late-night snack, music along the tree-lined drive, and a ribbon wand send-off.
Farewell Brunch
Amy and Chase closed the weekend with a farewell brunch at Babe’s Tea House. It was a simple, thoughtful way to gather with guests one more time before the weekend ended.
