Mack & Nolan’s Fall Wedding at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses

Mack and Nolan’s Evergreen fall wedding at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses was everything a Colorado mountain celebration should be—personal, intentional, and full of joy. With 44 guests, golden light, and the warm colors of late October, their day blended heartfelt tradition with a relaxed, modern feel.

A Calm Morning and a Perfect First Look

The day began in Denver with laughter, brunch, and the buzz of anticipation. Hair by Brook Mae Hairstyling and makeup by Beth Walker made the morning easy and fun while Dani Faulkenberry Photography and Grace Films documented each detail. When it was time for their first look, Mack and Nolan met at Elk Meadow—just the two of them, surrounded by autumn trees and crisp mountain air. It was quiet, beautiful, and full of emotion.

A Meadow Ceremony Framed in Rust and Gold

Back at Juniper, the meadow was transformed with florals by Snowberry Floral Co.. A hexagon arch from Have a Seat Rentals framed the view, softened with rust-colored drapery and warm candlelight. Candace of Woods + The Wild led the ceremony, and musician John Brewster filled the space with acoustic songs that matched the mood perfectly.

Cocktail Hour and Golden Hour

Cocktail hour took place on the deck, where guests enjoyed signature drinks, live music, and mountain air. A live painter, Catherine C. Sheehan Art, captured the Evergreen fall wedding ceremony scene in real time while the couple snuck away for sunset photos in the meadow. It was that kind of light that photographers dream of—soft, golden, and endless.

Dinner and Dancing Under the Stars

Dinner by Three Leaf Catering was served on the Mountain View Deck, styled with rentals from Colorado Party Rentals and cozy heaters from Premier Denver Event Rentals. The tables were set with toffee candles, gauze runners, and hand-lettered menus by Emily A. Howell Calligraphy + Design. Cakes by Katie created a stunning dessert spread of mini tortes, cheesecake truffles, and tiramisu shooters.

Toasts led into dancing under string lights, and the couple shared their first dance to “When the Stars Go Blue.” The night ended with foam light sticks, late-night snacks, and one last quiet dance before their glow-stick grand exit down Juniper’s driveway.

“I love that the ceremony and reception are all at the same venue and that we got to stay onsite with our wedding party. The large deck is perfect for dinner and dancing. Alea and Ashley are super easy to work with and make the process as simple as it gets.” – Mack
