A Romantic Late-Summer Wedding for Mackenzie & Alex
Mackenzie and Alex’s Evergreen mountain wedding at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses was the perfect late-summer celebration. With 45 of their closest friends and family, the day felt personal, romantic, and full of joy—exactly what they had envisioned when they first fell in love with Juniper.

The Calm Before the Ceremony
The day started with a smooth shuttle ride from City Park to Evergreen, thanks to Colorado Transportation Services. Meanwhile, photographer Wanderlust Co. Studio arrived early to capture detail shots including bouquets by A Perfect Petal and beautiful portraits around the lodge and the forest before setting up for the first look on the hummingbird deck.
The Meadow Ceremony
The ceremony began with “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last as Alex walked with his parents. Mackenzie followed to “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” by Kacey Musgraves. Their Evergreen mountain wedding ceremony felt timeless, surrounded by pine trees and soft mountain air. When “Things You Do for Love” by Thomas Rhett played as they were announced as husband and wife, guests erupted in applause—pure joy echoing through the meadow.
A Joyful Celebration
After family photos among the wildflowers, Mackenzie and Alex stole a few golden-hour moments together before heading to dinner at Bistro Del Lago, a favorite Evergreen restaurant known for its Italian cuisine and lake views. Guests enjoyed good food, laughter, and connection before returning to Juniper for one last toast beneath the stars.
