An Intimate Evergreen Colorado Wedding for Keller & Dan
Some couples bring a certain kind of energy that fills Juniper with warmth the moment they arrive. Keller and Dan were exactly that—laid-back, funny, stylish, and completely in love. Their Evergreen Colorado mountain wedding at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses was the perfect blend of elegance and comfort—deeply personal, joyful, and full of heart.
A Cozy Morning in the Mountains
The morning began at a nearby Airbnb in Evergreen, where Keller and her friends got ready surrounded by laughter, coffee, and a brunch spread. Lola Beauty worked their magic while Taylor Swift songs played in the background (a perfect preview for their ceremony soundtrack).
Keller’s Alice in Ivory gown hung by the window—modern and timeless all at once. Her bouquet by Snowberry Floral blended warm rust, soft greens, and natural texture—perfectly mirroring the tones of early fall in the foothills.
First Looks, Forest Views, and Family Moments
Before heading to Juniper, Keller and Dan shared a quiet first look and photos with Kalen Jesse Photography and Studio Lemus. They explored Elk Meadow, one of Evergreen’s most scenic spots, before heading up the mountain to Juniper.
When they arrived, the meadow ceremony space was set in earthy terracotta and olive tones, framed by a wooden arch overflowing with florals from Snowberry Floral. The fall sunlight streamed through the evergreens just as guests began to arrive.
A Ceremony Filled with Joy
As Alexa Kilgore (sister of Alea, co-owner of Juniper) and her trio Hummingbird and the Spoons began “Invisible String” by Taylor Swift, Keller and her dad walked the meadow path to a chorus of happy tears. The ceremony was heartfelt and personal, with laughter woven between vows and rings.
Dinner, Dancing, and Intentional Design
After the ceremony, guests moved to the deck reception for cocktails and a multi-course dinner from House & Howell. Tables glowed beneath string lights—rattan chargers, olive tones, and terracotta accents creating a scene that felt both elevated and welcoming.
And then came a surprise guest. Sniffer, our beloved neighborhood dog and honorary Juniper mascot, made his entrance mid-reception—tail wagging, right on cue. (We may or may not have coordinated the cameo.)
Speeches brought laughter and tears. The Hummingbirds and the Spoon Band filled the night with music while dessert from Right Cream kept everyone smiling. Every part of the evening reflected Keller and Dan’s personalities: fun, genuine, and deeply intentional.
