Zoe & Lance’s Evergreen Colorado Micro Wedding at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses

Zoe and Lance’s Evergreen Colorado micro wedding was the kind of day that felt calm, intentional, and deeply personal from beginning to end. With 25 guests, a mountain setting, live music, a private vow exchange, and dinner on the deck, their celebration at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses was intimate in all the right ways.

Getting Ready in Evergreen, Colorado

On the morning of the wedding, Zoe and her bridal party got ready nearby at Highland Haven in downtown Evergreen. Beauty on Location joined them for hair and makeup, while the planning team began gathering details and preparing the venue for the day ahead. One of the sweetest parts of the afternoon was Zoe getting into her dress in The Mountaineer’s Treehouse. With just her mom and her maid of honor present, it created a private, emotional moment before the ceremony began.

A Private First Touch and Vow Exchange

Before the ceremony, Zoe and Lance shared a private first touch and exchanged personal vows on the bridge at Juniper. It was a beautiful choice for a small mountain wedding because it gave them space to be fully present with each other before joining their guests.

An Intimate Meadow Ceremony

Zoe and Lance’s ceremony took place in the Meadow, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Cody, Lance’s brother, officiated the ceremony, which made the moment feel even more personal. The processional included family, wedding party, and one very special four-legged guest, Jovie. Zoe walked in with her dad to “Turning Page” by Sleeping At Last, while the earlier processional moments were set to “I Got You Honey” by Ocie Elliott, all performed by an acoustic guitarist and singer, Chris Koza.

Cocktail Hour, Golden Hour Photos, and a Private Toast

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the deck with passed appetizers from Greens Point Catering and the bar open at Juniper. Meanwhile, Zoe and Lance took group photos in the meadow and along the trail before heading into couple portraits along the meadow and trail. Later, they signed their marriage license and shared a private toast with champagne and appetizers.

Dinner and Dancing on the Deck

Zoe and Lance shared their first dance to “Suitcase Full of Sparks” by Gregory Alan Isakov, performed live by Chris Koza. Dinner was served on the deck, with a welcome toast from Zoe’s dad and a blessing from Zoe’s mom. Later in the evening, friends shared toasts before the couple cut their cake and moved into parent dances. The evening continued with dessert, dancing, and a send-off with light-up ribbon wands.

A Thoughtful Mountain Wedding in Evergreen

Zoe and Lance’s wedding was a beautiful example of what an Evergreen Colorado micro wedding can be: personal, scenic, relaxed, and full of meaning. From their private vows near the treehouse to their meadow ceremony, golden hour portraits, dinner on the deck, and live music under the mountain sky, the day felt connected to both the couple and the setting.
