Chelsea & Andrew’s Small Colorado Wedding at Juniper
Chelsea and Andrew hosted a small Colorado wedding at Juniper that felt joyful, personal, and intentionally relaxed. With 40 guests, live playlists, and their two dogs walking down the aisle, the day balanced heartfelt moments with playful energy. Their ceremony took place at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses, using the meadow as a natural backdrop before heading into Denver for an evening reception.
A Relaxed Arrival and First Look
Chelsea and Andrew arrived at Juniper together in the early afternoon with their photographer, Steph Hennessey, already documenting the day. They arrived dressed and ready, giving themselves time to settle in before the ceremony. They shared a private first look shortly after arriving. With a Negroni for Andrew and a gin and tonic with lime for Chelsea, the moment felt calm and celebratory. Their dogs, Pippen and Shortcake, stayed close by with the best men, adding a personal detail that reflected who they are as a couple.
Bouquets and boutonnieres from Perfect Petal tied in soft sage and neutral tones that complemented the meadow. Guests began arriving at 4:00 pm via Forever Party Bus, keeping transportation easy and stress free.
The Meadow Ceremony
At 4:30 pm, the ceremony began in the meadow. Chelsea’s dad, Greg, officiated, making the moment deeply meaningful. Music choices reflected the couple’s personality, from Mumford & Sons to The Lord of the Rings soundtrack and a Tallest Man on Earth cover. Pippen and Shortcake walked down the aisle with the best men, earning smiles before Chelsea made her entrance. The ceremony felt warm, emotional, and genuine from start to finish. Chelsea and Andrew exited to Wilco’s “Love Is Everywhere”, closing the ceremony on a joyful note.
Photos and a Smooth Transition to the Evening
After the ceremony, the couple took family and group photos in the meadow while guests mingled. By early evening, Chelsea and Andrew departed Juniper and headed into Denver. Guests followed shortly after and arrived at Linger for the reception.
A City Reception After a Meadow Ceremony
The celebration continued at Linger, where guests enjoyed dinner, drinks, and conversation in a lively urban setting. The contrast between a quiet mountain ceremony and a city reception gave the day balance and momentum.
