An Intimate Evergreen Colorado Wedding for Theresa & Ryan
Theresa and Ryan’s intimate Evergreen Colorado wedding at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses was a celebration of love, family, and mountain beauty. With glowing fall light, a relaxed guest list, and the warmth of everyone they love most, their day captured everything special about getting married in the Colorado foothills.
Getting Ready in the Foothills
The morning began with Theresa and her family at an Airbnb in Indian Hills while Ryan got ready at his childhood home in Golden. De’Lylah’s Hair & Body created soft, natural looks for the bridal party as Tayler Carlisle Photography and Laurel Wedding Films documented every quiet, joyful moment leading up to the ceremony.
A First Look at Elk Meadow Park
Before the ceremony, the couple met at Elk Meadow Park, a mountain overlook just a few minutes from Juniper. It was one of those classic Colorado moments — golden grass, crisp mountain air, and that look between two people who know they’re exactly where they’re meant to be.
A Heartfelt Ceremony at Juniper Lodge & Treehouses
Guests were welcomed with warm cider and cozy mugs as they arrived at Juniper’s Meadow Ceremony Site. COLLECTIVE/by Sachs styled every detail with care, and Snowberry Floral Co. filled the space with soft, romantic blooms that blended seamlessly with the fall landscape.
Live acoustic music from John Brewster filled the air as the processional began — “Moon River,” followed by Brandi Carlile’s “The Story” for Theresa’s entrance. The ceremony, officiated by a family member, included personal vows, two readings, a ring-warming ritual, and the traditional seven blessings. When they were pronounced married, “Home” by Phillip Phillips played as everyone cheered and the couple walked back up the aisle, glowing.
Cocktails, Dinner & Dancing Under the Stars
Guests gathered on the Mountain View Deck for cocktails and appetizers by Chef Dane’s Kitchen, featuring signature drinks like “The Herbalist” and “The Engineer.” As the sun set, toasts and laughter carried through the evening, followed by a plated dinner, cake from Shamane’s Bake Shop, and dancing beneath the string lights.
The newlyweds shared their first dance to “You’re All I Need to Get By,” surrounded by family and friends as the mountain night grew cool and still.
The Perfect Ending
The celebration wrapped with a quiet sendoff to Highland Haven Creekside Inn, where Theresa and Ryan ended their wedding day the same way it began — surrounded by love, and completely at ease in the mountains.
